Hard to choose… great job everyone!
It’s great that there are so many more skull/dynamic black & white fabrics out there these days to make playing with patterns like these that much more fun and not limited to Halloween. Great job with the patterns.
They are all terrific! But my favorite is “Flash Mob!”
Very BadAss! Love this challenge. Everyone did a great job!!

I loved these skulls the moment I saw them, was so glad to be a part of this challenge. The finished quilts are wonderful, congrats to all who entered, we should all feel proud of our designs and the work we put into them. I was sorry not to be able to get my blog to post, would have liked all to be able to see my work in progress. Thanks to Bad Ass for a great challenge.
Great work everyone. I love seeing all the variations on a theme!
love the pretty skulls with sugar on top!!!
Thank you for hosting this! I learned a lot about working with black and white fabrics…and the skulls were super fun.
I had fun creating my Frank Lloyd Wright version for my friend’s son’s band Ghost of a Gentleman. As Thunder said, they were all awesome, I voted for another person’s! Although I would have loved to receive the Sugar Skulls fabric, I loved all the fabrics that came in my bundle 🙂 🙂 🙂
It was hard to choose one, but I had to go with Flashmob. I really liked the one with the raven, too.
Thank You!
What a great competition!!! So hard to pick my favorite 🙂
Amazing what can be done with black and white, a bit of skull, and a lot of skill!
Really enjoy seeing all these wonderful skully quilts! Way too much fun!
I love mine, but the raven looking over the cemetery is super awesome!
All the quilts are great!
I wish I could have voted more than once! They are all great!
So many good choices! Crazy with a side of skull eventually got my vote, but it was hard choosing an absolute fave.
I love “Watchful Eye of the Cemetary Warden!
Skulls in the house was my favorite. Hard to decide, beautiful work everyone!
Wonderful talent!
Great work, all!!! It was hard to choose just one!
It was a hard choice….some really great quilts!!!!
Love the quilts. What a fun quilt challenge. Mr. Skully Paws gets my vote. Love the use of negative space. Well done.
Very cool stuff!
Skull fairy
Love all the Skully quilts!
Loved “Skully in the kitchen sink”. I thought the blue and white combination was very wonderful and different.
Great job everyone! Running With Skulls is my favorite!
Great quilts! They are all bad ass. Black and white is always my fave, then add skulls- it doesn’t get much more lovely than that.
These were so much fun! I wish I could see them hanging together in a show. The infinite potential inherent in a fat quarter of fabric is what keeps me coming back to this art form/ hobby/ obsession. To think that all these disparately fabulous quilts started with the same raw materials! I hope to be able to join in next time.
Such a wonderful array of gorgeous quilts. So hard to choose a favourite XX
Badass imagination! You quilters rock!!!
All the quilts are skulltasticly awesome!! Great job everyone =)
Great Job everyone–but Calico Jack is classic!
good work, everyone. I wish I could vote for more than one. love Jack and the raven!
I have been watching my best Barbie create this wonderful quilt for your challenge! She all ways does a wonderful job! Good luck to all who entered!
I’m just sick, sick! that I missed this challenge. My vote goes to Susan Lawson and Michelle Winter’s Raven. Outstanding! Way to go gurls!
They are all good but I like Crazy with a Side of Skulls.
