I am a heretic in all senses of the word and especially when it comes to sewing and quilting. For as much as I love new fabric there is nothing like the prints and feel of time worn cotton and for that reason I take great joy in quilting with vintage sheets.
This topic can be hotter than the whole press open ~vs~ press to the side controversy but I shall not be swayed from my love of all that is vintage and sheety!
The charm packs from Kelly’s store are freshly washed and pressed and ready for you to create with. Check out the video and see the surprise I found in one of the packs I bought from her store.
I have a serious collection of my own and am tickled pink that my friend Kelly has become my go-to source for more of the styles and colors I love best! Her business Vintage Fabric Studio is a heavenly little spot on the net where you too can find the prints and colors that make your heart beat a little faster ( I know mine does)

I recently acquired my first vintage sheet! What fun…
Isn’t it the best! Something special about finding those gems among the sheets. 😉
Oh love the selection Kelly has…just got some Yellow fat quarters….my favorite colors to work with…but I prowl around the towns 2nd hand shops,,,,senior center and yard sales to find what I want to use…
Lori I am so glad you liked your yellow bundle! I love putting pretty fabric together. Thank you!
Love love this fabric line!! I have a whole collection of vintage table cloths and dresser doilies from estate sales and auctions. The fabrics you showed remind me of sunny days in a field or old farm house, with my auction number in hand determined to win that pretty linen.
I would love this just to make a bunting to hang across my sewing room! I grew up in the sixties and seventies and the wide range of prints from dainty florals to Mod is just …well….groovy!
I just started collecting vintage sheets and hope to create a quilt this summer with these beautiful fabrics.
Ordered my vintage fabric which arrived so promptly and was presented as though I were very special. I also ordered your little ruler and found the seller was from Farmington, Minnesota, where I lived a few years ago. What else will I be tempted by!
MaryAnn, thanks so much for the kind words. You are special, all the best.
I wish I had access to some of the vintage sheets from my past! I am so excited to peruse the fabrics 🙂
I have created an addiction for vintage tablecloths from the 60’s and 70’s. The plan is to turn these bright patterns into wholecloth quilts. Can’t wait to get to them. I also have a small collection of kitchen towel in the same style. I want to FMQ those to death…
I immediately placed an order – it came yesterday – and it was presented so, so well!! Everything’s adorable, the fabric is divine, and the scrap schnibblets made into a festive tassel that served as package decor has already been claimed by my cat Fred as a favorite toy. Heavenly and utterly badass!
I am so happy you loved your package and it is kitty approved. 🙂 Thank you for the wonderful review!
No vintage sheets in my stash nor do I intend on buying any (thrifted, of course). I would be open to trying it if the right material came my way.
I love vintage sheets. The cool feel when you get in bed. I now have a queen size bed, and all the sheets I have are full. But I still keep them. I just love to touch them. All I find now is microfiber. I love all vintage. I love tablecloths. I also use a hankie, especially in winter. I feel old, probably look old, but I don’t care. It doesn’t shred in my coat pocket like tissue.
Greetings! Not only do I have a vintage sheet collection, but also a very large collection of embroidered vintage pillow cases as well as vintage tablecloths and napkins… heck, I love all vintage linens! I started with vintage bark cloth, which was but a gateway drug, then moved onto chenille bedspreads in the 80’s, progressed into vintage tablecloths in the 90’s and as my addiction to all things vintage has increased, so has my collection of linens with my newest passion being aprons!!!
I love to sew with vintage sheets! When my mother-in-law passed away a few years ago, her hall closet was full (and I mean FULL!) of unused sheet sets! Some were still in the packages. I have used them for several projects that I have worked on. I love them!
