Each week it is my absolute privilege to bring to you some of the most engaging, friendly and talented quilters out there and this week is no exception. This week I am very excited to introduce you to Patti Sandage of West Tennessee.
Patti is an outdoor girl who loves her horseback riding, working her cattle or even a bit of time in the flower garden. After all some of the best quilting ideas can come to her when out on the tractor!
Patti’s quilting adventure began in 2006 when the desire for an Amish style quilt had her dragging out her old singer and giving it a go. She quickly found out that if you run a slightly cranky older machine for several hours straight it will protest by blowing its motor!
Little did she know that the motor blowing would be a lucky thing and lead her to a quilt shop in Jackson TN where she became a Bernina girl with the purchase of a 200E that she quilts on to this day.
Patti is dipping her toes in the quilt show waters and with a little luck you will see one of her quilts with her wonderful hand applique and free motion quilting at a show near you!
