Don’t you think it is time for a party?… a reason to be happy, kick up your heels a bit and have a nice bowl of kibble!….. what?… Kibble?… Yes!… this is an Animal party!
I think by now most people know of my love to animals and my dedication for Neonatal Kitten rescue… what?… you had no idea? Well, if you are also into the welfare of kittens feel free to join me over on my Kitten Mamma group, but first check out this adorable collection of Party Animal fabric from the people at QT Fabrics!
More than that… look at what I made! Why yes that is a big cat toy for my very big cats ( my kittens are wee-tiny but my cats… all 14+ pounds!).. and of course you can make it small as well! I used the brand new product Fabriflare from the folks over at Indygo Junction.
This fabric collection ( Party Animals) with the colorful cats and dogs was totally perfect for making bright and happy toys for my darlings. I used the Fabriflare Faceted Sphere pattern as directed but then I got all creative and added a bell toy to the inside and grommets to the panels so I could add not only cat nip but little treats that spill out as the cats move the ball around. Keeping the minds of my cats engaged gives them less reason to shred up my sofa!
Next week I will be using some more Party Animal fabric to make a Kitten Care Caddy… so if that peaks your interest check back and see that and get in on a second chance to win a whole FQ bundle of the Party Animal collection…. what?…. did I forget to mention that I have a GORGEOUS stack of Party Animal to give away today?… well I do!
Want to know more about the Cat Nip ball or see the collection a bit closer? Pop over to the BAQS Facebook page and look for the video!
Leave me a comment about what you would make with a nice fat stack of Party Animal fabric! We will draw for a winner on the 22nd of November!!

That fabric is too cute. I love that you made a cool ball for your cats. Thanks
That fabric is too cute. I love that you made a cool ball for your cats. Thanks
Cat beds for rescue kitties!
I love your ball! I would
Make a Smaller version for
My newly adopted young cat that was found injured at a local race track and brought to my vet to find a home. My English bulldog fell in love with her as a little buddy and we brought her home and have enjoyed her company very much!!
I would definitely make the cat toy- the grommets are a great idea!
My special needs dog loves cats, but we’re limited to one pet, so we can’t get her a pet. She needs a new quilt for her armchair. This would be perfect!
I would make sleeping pads for my fur babies and a quilt for myself to snuggle in with my kitties!
that ball is so darned cute! I make cat beds for my local no-kill shelter and the fabric would be great!
I love the cat toy and the party animal fabric so adorable!
The party fabric is delightful! I’d make cat toys for all the cats I know!
Oh my goodness! What a great fabric line! It definitely needs to find it’s way to my stash. What would I make? Right now i am working on quilts for the children who lost their homes in the Napa and Sonoma fires. Most lost their pets too so I have been using animal fabric. This would be perfect.
Oh my gosh! I need to make cat balls for both my nieces. Their cats would love them.
Ok so here is my weird comment! I have a 3 year old chihuahua named Rosie, that loves cat toys! She has played with them since she was a baby and still does!
I would make her toys to play with! Weird huh?!
I tried to insert a video of her doing it. She catches the ball and throws it back with her mouth, and chases the cat jingle balls!
A comfy blanket for cat and owner to enjoy together.
I would love to make a faceted sphere for my six black cats
Cat ball is great. I would make cat quilts!
Yay! I just bought some of the party dachshunds to make a fun and frivolous dachshund Christmas quilt. I can hardly wait!
These fabrics are so fun! Anything made from them would add a smile but I think quilts for the rescue center would be a nice thing to do.
Thank you for your caring of “lost” babies. Love the fabric line. Cute, cute, cute.
Anything I make with this fabric would be fantastic!
Catnip mice for my 5 kitties
My mom just got a cat in September. I have been racking ma brain to decide what to do for lil Lucy for Christmas. This might be just perfect!
I would make cat beds and catnip treats for my furry babies. They would love it!
I love it I think a cute throw for my wheelchair is in order for that fabric along with a few cat toys too!
No kitties here but I would whip up something for my puppyboy, Cooper. 🐶
Our quilt guild makes quilts for kids (cancer and crisis) this would be great for that.
So cute! These would make an adorable kid’s quilt!
We are a 5 cat family, having rescued a pregnant mama cat and then kept all the kittens…I just couldn’t say goodbye to those babies. Now the “babies” are 5 years old, weigh about 15 pounds each, and 3 of the 5 cats have asthma and 2 have heart conditions. So, we have our hands full and I’m looking for ways to keep them entertained. I’d be making cat toys like crazy if I won the fabric.
Like you, I rescued a mother and three cuties, two of which have health issues also. They are loved and live with two others in our “no declaw” household, always finding distractions or directing to scratch pads for an alternative to those awful places that hurt kitties. I love my life and all it entails but my kitties are such joyful gifts.mlove being a badass quilter with cats!!!
I would make that adorable cat sphere!!! I love it and all the fabric. My all black fuzzy main coon kitty would love it too!
Kennel quilts would be perfect with that fabric!! Love your cats’ new toy!!!
i make blankets and crate mats for animal rescue groups; these fabrics would be great!
I’d make cat balls of course. And donate them to a great kitten rescue in Dothan, AL called the Kitty Kottage. We have adopted a tabby -bengal mix little girl from KK’s Glenda who does a great job saving orphaned kittens and momma cats.
OMG, that is the cutest fabric! I’d LOVE to win some.
A quilt for the fur faces would be sooo cute in this fabric!
Great for quilts that I donate to the children’s hospital.
Such cute party animals! I see a tumbling block quilt for a little one!
I can see this in pillow cases for kids of a quilt that could be for a child or even a pet.
I am making kids quilts for those that were injured in Sutherland Springs Texas. These fabrics would be awesome to have.
I donate children’s quilts – these would be great!
I would make cuddle blankets for my local shelter. They take in quilts to ease the anxiety of the shelter animals. These fabrics are so bright and cheerful they would be just the right medicine! They would make the shelter cages less scary and more comfy and cheerful.
Oh the boys will love this, or rather these, since I will need to make two!!!
This fabric is adorable and so are your cats! I would make the toy that you made and a cat cushion with the fabric. Thanks!
OMG, that fabric is just too adorable! I would make a lap quilt for me, me, me and the kittehs.
Cat beds, of course!
My cats love puzzle toys and fabric. I think that ball toy would be perfect for them. Like you say it does reduce the destructions. My girls prefer to throw books around rather than shred the sofa though.
I am planning a quilt for next year’s annual opportunity quilt for the local no-kill animal shelter. I make a quilt for them every year.
JayJay, my furry buddy, needs his very own quilt. With his big ol’smile and wagging tail he brings the party wherever he goes. This fabric is perfect!!
Crinkly cat bags and maybe something like those cat balls. What a great idea!
I love making kennel quilts and children quilts with animal fabrics!
CAT BALLS! My kitties need CAT balls! Santa Claws is coming! Would be a perfect project!
