Wow!… nothing moves the calendar along like having a month long event with giveaways every week!
This week I am excited to not only show you products that are new to you but to let you know why some products are staples of just about every sewing room.
I am not sure many of us could think about sewing and quilting without thinking about OLFA. And while they are a staple they are also on the cutting edge of quality and innovation. I know that I am LOVING my folding cutting mat from them so I am tickled pink that it is one of the things that one lucky winner will be winning along with rotary cutters, rulers and blades for various winners.

Oh my! I am sorting, tossing, etc. my sewing room prepping to pack up to down size. It would be awesome to unpack and find some new notions.

I bought my first Olfa cutter in 1979 and I’ve never looked back. They walk on water imho. 🙂

I am so bad at changing my blade when it needs it! I would love one that stayed sharper longer (of course running over other things that aren’t fabric doesn’t help 😜).

Blades that last longer? I’d love that! Folding mat? That would be a godsend for my upstairs (recreational) sewing spot–as opposed to my working studio.
Wow, right now I’m transporting my mat on a road trip to Michigan standing up between a suitcase & the cooler to keep it flat!!!

I fold my fabric (yardage) using an 8.5″ ruler, so these bolts would be an awesome substitute! So great seeing detailed demos on these notions. Cannot resist!

Are the blades truly sharper and longer lasting? If so, I’d jump at the chance to try them. I’ve just been bit by the “new and improved” bug enough times that I’m a skeptic. Like the $50+ I spend on a blade sharpener that doesn’t really sharpen all that well.
