Wow!… nothing moves the calendar along like having a month long event with giveaways every week!
This week I am excited to not only show you products that are new to you but to let you know why some products are staples of just about every sewing room.
I am not sure many of us could think about sewing and quilting without thinking about OLFA. And while they are a staple they are also on the cutting edge of quality and innovation. Anything that can help get my stash organized would be wonderful. Not sure I would enjoy quilting near as much without my rotary cutter.
A sharp blade gets you off to a great accurate start, plus a sharp blade is actually a time saver
My stash is so out of control that I do not know what I have. I have been thinking about changing to this tule of system to make it all more organized and accessible.
Mini bolts and folding mats sound like just the thing to help me get my sewing room organized and more efficient.
Olfa for the win! It was an olfa blade that chopped my thumb tip off* and I still won’t use any other brand.

I have a system currently in place. It is organized – by project. Minibolts would make it so much easier to get everything put away properly AND fit in my current space! And that cutting mat? Would love to have a portable mat for on the go. This would be fantastic to win!
Always switching cutting mats… sometimes three or four times during one session. This folding mat looks perfect. The thought of going through my stash and putting it on mini-bolts is daunting, but exciting!
I love my olfa cutter. And I’d love to get a folding cutting mat for classes. I’d need a lot of those mini bolts to get my stash organized, lol.
I used comic book backer boards to make mini bolts. It’s the best way to store and see my stash!

I just bought an Olfa rotary cutter a few months ago and I love it. My old rotary cutter wasn’t nearly as much fun to use. Those mini bolts look like they make organizing your fabric collection so easy!
I love seeing these new items available. The mini bolts would be great for my new craft room bookshelves, and the folding mat looks so handy and space-saving even if it never leaves my house.

I make custom Java Jackets, so I have a lot of fat quarters hanging about. I tried the comic cover route, but it’s only a stop-gap. The mini-bolts look like they could be the real deal!

I’ve used the comic board backers for years now and they work ok but the fabric can and does slip so those tabs look pretty great! Also, Olfa, such great tools!
I can’t wait to get more shelves for my craft room. I use comic book cardboard to wrap my fabric around.

I am intrigued by Mini Bolts! I don’t have a huge stash but my hand-folded piles are starting to get overwhelming.
Anything to be more organized! I’m far more creative when my stuff is organized.

I love this series on notions. Olfa is my favorite cutter. I have one in every drawer of my studio. The mini bolts make your fabric stash look so cool.
I would love to have my own quilting store at home. With how messy and cluttered it is I’m not sure I’d want to shop there.😊 Soon I hope to have the time to straighten up. I’ve never seen mini bolts, what a fantastic idea, very clever. I’m always late to the party.

Mini Bolts look awesome! I have used comic/magazine boards but the fabric can slip. Love the built in tabs on the Mini Bolts, which might solve the problem. I love Olfa and the folding mat is perfect for moving around the sewing room or taking to classes. Seems like there would be less chance it warping like larger boards might when exposed to the elements while traveling.
