So… are we having fun so far?.. if so please do me the favor of sharing your appreciation for all we do where at BAQS by inviting those you know to love it as well. — Thank you!!
Ok.. week number TWO!…. and I think we have some stuff that you are going to adore!
One of the biggest questions I get is about free motion and ruler work on the domestic machine.. people so want to open up this option but can’t quite seem to get the hang of it. One of the reasons is that they are trying with not quite the right notions to make things smooth and easy. That is where the people from Westalee come in!
While you might know them for the Sew Steady extension tables their foot and templates for domestic machine quilting can totally be a game changer for the quilter wanting to replicate the look of Long-arm quilting from their domestic machine.
They have been so kind as to send us a complete Ruler Kit and Design Workbook for one lucky winner*!! This is a fantastic investment for any sewing room and has a retail value of over $175! Get started quilting with templates on a domestic sewing machine! Includes a Quilting Ruler Foot, 12” Arc Template, Stable Tape, Spacing Gauge, 6pc Sampler Template Set 1, 8-1/2″ 8pt. Cross Hair Square and Janet’s Ruler Quilt Design Book.
This prize is going to make someone’s day very bright!! Want to know more… watch this great video!

Next up while a bit of a switch up, i think that everyone should know about the ladies at The Stitch TV Show.
These ladies are hysterical! But best of all they know their quilting stuff!! Their talent extends to quilt patterns and graphic design as well. They have a cool new auto-sticker that helps you get your point across and I think you are going to love it! One of our readers will be winning one but you can get your own RIGHT HERE.
So you know the drill, leave a comment for your chance to win and then look again for the post on Wednesday as well as livecast videos 2 x this week to see more about the products we are featuring! Do remember that all winner-boxes will be shipped out at the end of the month with a variety of nifty winning things that have been featured over the course of the month.. each box is somewhat different and winning does not assure you of winning exactly what was featured this week but what you win will have been featured this month and will be amazing! This week’s winner will be announced on Friday!

Really great information on the video with the Westlee rulers. I have the foot and a ruler but have not tried it on a quilt yet, I have done some practice on a practice sandwich. would love to have the rest of the rulers and instructions.
Rulers for your home machine have intrigued me but I’ve been afraid to try them with no guidance (ha ha) . This would definitely make it less intimidating
Absolutely love this place and the attitude towards quilting and just life in general ! Sooooo refreshing . I just had a birthday and my mom kept seeing Bad Ass Quilting showing up on my facebook so she ordered me a tote …..I knew what it was as soon as I opened the bag , I squealed like a lunatic when I saw the red and white material . Love it ! Thanks for the chance to win some of these awesome prizes I have been eyeballing for a while but a little intimidated to try

Looks like an awesome, easy to use product.
You’re right! Ruler work and ‘passable’ free-motion are both on my list of challenges to master. I have been lusting for this specific ruler kit for months and even more now that I have a longarm.
