Welcome to January of 2021 here at BadAss Quilters Society… With a bright new year we are taking the time to do a little changing around here so please excuse our dust and if things look a little funny as we make changes to the back end to  serve our needs as we grow into an even more vibrant community of progressive, Healthy Happy Quilters!

The month of January is devoted to the topic of Appliqué and all the ways.. well at least SOME of the ways we can do it. Gone are the days when there was only one RIGHT way to do things.. now there are as many as you can think of as well as wonderful notions, products and education to make the process fast and fun, simple or as complex as we could ever want!

Week 1 Apliquick Method

Apliquick tools can be hard to find so if your local shop does to carry them feel free to check them out through my link below!

The rods are the key to the Apliquick method and while I am pretty sure TSA would take them away for their sharp points and ability to use them to defend yourself with ease the well balanced design makes them feel like a real extension of your fingers and you quickly become very adept at using them on your turned pieces.

Need some? I got you covered!  Remember to always check with your local quilt shop but otherwise I am happy to point you to where you can get them online from my affiliate links. This does not cost you anything and helps me pay the expenses around here and even save more kittens! (yeah that was shameless, but true!)

A three yard pack of the Apliquick iron on stabilizer .. I am not sure what sort of magic is  this stuff.. but 3 yards should last a good long while!

If you would prefer you iron on in precuts I like this one from Hugs and kisses!.. makes it easy if you are going to run it through the printer!

If you have not joined the micro- serreated  scissor party  you are missing out!.. These cut the smallest most fiddly pieces with ease!
