Happy birthday day to me, happy birthday to me, I am doing a giveaway for my birthday!
As some of you know I got an Instant Pot a couple of months ago and it has been love since first pressurizing! This machine saves me so much time… it is an electric pressure cooker and while it does just about everything that a slow cooker will do it does it 100 times faster. This is perfect for those of us who on the regular forget to actually plug in the crock pot!!
This machine is giving me more time in the sewing room and who can say no to that?
So here is the deal… today is my birthday but I am a go-big or go-home sort of girl so we will keep this giveaway open all week so that people can find it, leave a comment and get in on the fun! We will draw for a winner on Friday the 27th at 9pm eastern over on the BAQS page on Facebook so make sure to not only LIKE it but the follow as well so you don’t miss hearing that you won! All you need to do is leave a comment here telling me your favorite time saving dinner and you are in!
As always dear Speakeasy members, the secret handshake has gotten you in on even more good-stuff. You will also be having your own additional private Instant Pot giveaway so that gets you double the chances to win! Plus continued access to my personal stash of tested Instant Pot recipes to make you look like you gave a damn but you actually spent more time sewing than cooking!

( For those doing the math there… yes I am actually giving away TWO Instant Pot’s for my birthday!)

Nice! I love a pot of beans cooked with ham, onions and green chilis. Sides are corn bread and fried potatoes. Or a nice pot roast.
My favorite dinner right now is eating out. But that’s because I am getting a new kitchen. A new gadget would be fun to play with though when it gets finished. Thanks and Happy Birthday!
I like soup, keep it in the freezer for a quick reheat.
Happy birthday to you! ? (I celebrate mine tomorrow.)
My favorite go-to is steamed veggies mixed into cooked pasta; add butter and sprinkle with grated parmesan, yum!
Beef vegetable soup 🙂
Happy Birthday??
My favorite easy dinner is Stir fry.
I have never tried a pressure cooker but would love one 🙂
I hear great things about it. I asked Santa for one but he did not bring
It 🙁
Happy Birthday! Tomato soup & grilled cheese sandwiches is my go-to. Yum! I’d love to be able to make homemade veggie chili from scratch. I’m avoiding processed foods.
I love the “joined a cult” reference cuz it is sooooo true – lol. Learning to use this IP has been great fun and it produces wonderful dishes. I love this thing!
My favorite time saving meal is chili – I puree leftover veggies and dump it all in ? No one realizes how many veggie servings they are getting – all they taste is the chili !! Gives me more time to quilt
Anything to get you out of the kitchen is good!
Stir fried chicken with peppers and onions-yummy! (I accidentally typed the wrong email before–doh!)
Stir fried chicken and peppers and onions–yummy!
I LOVE my instant pot. I can sew and quilt at the same time or quickly make food when I lost track of time. I need another one to share the joy with a friend!
MMY
My favorite dinner is a pasta salad with artichokes, store chicken, olives, artichoke/mayo/parmesan dressing, some veggies. I can whip it up quickly and if it is cold, I just zap it. Since I don’t cook in the summer do to our extreme temps, the quick pot might change that! Happy Birthday!!!!
Happy Birthday, Darlin’! You could be this products spokeswoman! Thank you for your generous give-a-ways.
I let my hubby cook! Great time saver (for me) – I just keep on sewing … 🙂
Happy Birthday fellow quilter!!
Beyond Easy Pulled Pork from everydaypaleo.com – great for breakfast, lunch & dinner!
Whenever I make soup or chili, I freeze what is left over in microwave proof containers. All I have to do is pull out a container, defrost and heat in the microwave. Sometimes I will make grilled cheese sandwiches as well.
Steamed veggies and rice
This instant pot thing gives me flashbacks. Can’t wait to try it out on some oatmeal. Just saying. Thank you
My go to is smoked sausage fajitas. It’s quick and easy, even my 8 year old cam make them.
Crockpot chili on a cold winter afternoon!
My favorite go to time saving dinner is meatball soup.
Fry a few chops, steam veggies & salad done in 15 min or less.
My go to “quick” dinner is spaghetti.
Stew or soup. Anything I can start and then add things in little bits when I’m already in the kitchen.
My favorite time saver dinner is breakfast for dinner! Pancakes, waffles, eggs whatever and the kids love it!
I think people that cook in pressure cookers are just as passionate about that as we who quilt.
My favorite slow cooker recipe is Mulligan stew. I has just about everything in it and really yummmmmmy. My Dad taught me this and I make it all fall and winter. Just he was here to enjoy it with me.
Happy birthday. I used to use a regular pressure cooker a lot. It sure did save me time when I came home after work and needed to fix a meal. I would love to win the Instant Pot. I’m sure it’s even better than the old pressure cooker.
Love the big one we have, next up is little individual one I can use at work.
Happy birthday!! My family loves corned beef brisket in the slow cooker. Meat with a little added water, and waalaa! Dinner in eight hours. Would love to learn about the pressure cooker. Thank you!!
I’d love to win! I’ve heard so much about these.
I don’t have a favorite quick time meal other than cooking something in the old fashion crock pot. I would love to try an instant pot, because I don’t always remember to get dinner stuff out to thaw in time for the crock pot.
Pot roast in a slow cooker is my favorite.
Homemade clam chowder with garlic toast and a cozy blanket and something on tv!
Hamburg gravy over mashed potatoes…or carry out! ? Happy Birthday and many more.
chicken pot pie
Would love the IP!
Chicken chili is an easy and flavorful meal. Oh you must add corn chips though.
My mom and sister both have one but i am out of the loop so it would be so nice to have one too.
My fav time saving dinner is huevos rancheros. I heat up an oiled corn tortilla or two, heat up a can of rotel tomatoes, fry an egg or two. Assemble egg on top of tortilla, ladle simevrotwl iver the top and top with grated cheese. I serve it with Ranch Style black beans. Quick and easy
Oops! That is ladle rotel over top of egg and tortilla typo
I’ve heard about these, would really like one so I can give it a try!
I need to learn all these recipes. My mouth is watering after reading these favorites. It’ll be new in my house! I’m going to win! (never have but positive attitude is everything!
Love a fun give away! Thank you for doing this. Good luck everyone!
Happy Birthday Maddie
We can always use more time in the sewing room. I just don’t have enough time to sew and cook. Thank goodness the hubby understands and will help with the cooking, sometimes. Lol. Happy birthday!
I’ve loved watching the Badass quilters since Trisha used to post on pickle road! Happy birthday to you!
Love, love LOVE making ribs in the Instant Pot! They come out perfect!
I always try to prep earlier in the day so when it comes time to cook I am not cutting veggies while trying to cook!
Ps…happiest birthday to you!!!!
