Happy birthday day to me, happy birthday to me, Â I am doing a giveaway for my birthday!
As some of you know I  got an Instant Pot a couple of months ago and it has been love since first pressurizing!  This machine saves me so much time… it is an electric pressure cooker and  while it does just about everything that a slow cooker will do it does it 100 times faster. This is perfect for those of us who on the regular forget to actually plug in the crock pot!!
This machine is giving me more time in the sewing room and who can say no to that?
So here is the deal… today is my birthday but I am a go-big or go-home sort of girl so we will keep this giveaway open all week so that people can find it, leave a comment and get in on the fun!  We will draw for a winner on Friday the 27th at 9pm eastern over on the BAQS page on Facebook so make sure to not only LIKE it but the follow as well so you don’t miss hearing that you won!  All you need to do is leave a comment here telling me your favorite time saving dinner and you are in!
As always dear Speakeasy members, the secret handshake has gotten you in on even more good-stuff. You will also be having your own additional  private Instant Pot giveaway so that gets you double the chances to win! Plus continued access to my personal stash of tested Instant Pot recipes to make you look like you gave a damn but you actually spent more time sewing than cooking!

( For those doing the math there… yes I am actually giving away TWO Instant Pot’s for my birthday!)

Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday.
I use my crockpot many nights. Kick myself when I forget to put it on
Happy birthday, my go to is anything on the grill. Would love to try an instapot.
Happy B’day!! My time saving tip is having hubby cook dinner. LOL Okay, most of the time he orders pizza but if it leaves me more time to sew then it’s fine with me. 🙂
Awesome giveaway!
My favorite time saving dinner is bbq’d country style pork ribs. Toss ribs, bbq sauce, and onion in slow cooker. Boom, dinner.
Have you ever made non-refried beans? You just dump the dry beans, water, bullion, chunks of onion, chili powder, cumin, garlic (lots of garlic), salt, oregano – and let it cook most of the day. Use an immersion blender right in the pot. It thickens as it cools. Great for layered bean dip, burritos, tacos, side dish, everything! My kids think the canned stuff smells like cat food. 🙂
Happy birthday, Maddie!
We badass girls have got to stick together.
The Instant Pot is on my covet list since I saw one in action at my daughter’s house!
Happy birthday. Pizza seems to be the quickest meal.
Happy birthday!
Cereal and peanut butter toast! It’s my dog’s favorite fast meal too! Lol
Happy Birthday! My son, daughter, grandson, godson, godmother, aunt and brother all have birthdays this week. You are in great company!
Less time cooking = more time quilting = awesomesauce!
I cook up and shred a lot of chicken in advance so it’s on hand and ready when I want to use it! Portion it out in zip locks for easy freezing and thawing.
Carnitas!
Time saving dinner: Walking Tacos. Take a single serve bag of Doritos, crush it up, add taco fixings, shake. You eat it right out of the bag so no dishes, either.
Our favorite time saving dinner is breakfast when we are in a real time crunch, but if I have time to plan ahead, I love to put a whole chicken or roast in the crock pot and let it go all day long.
I have a great Taco Stew recipe I make in the crockpot. I freeze some and can pull it out at any time for a nice hot meal.
Happy Birthday!
My quick go to when time is short is tomato basil soup with a grilled 3 cheese sandwich. It is so good after a hectic day. Happy ? Birthday Maddie and many more.
It seems like everyone I know got one for Christmas. I had never heard of it until December 26. I have major FOMO going on.
My favorite time saving dinner is having canned deer on hand. It takes a bit of time to can it but on crazy days I just throw it in some gravy and pour it over biscuits. Either that or have beans and ham canned up.
Have A Happy Day Birthday!!
Happy Birthday !!!- can’t beat pulled pork, sandwiches one day and tacos or enchiladas another
My favorite time saving recipe is chicken and rice.
Happy birthday! just put roasting chicken in the crockpot with a little salt and pepper and what ever spices you like (spices optional). You can out onions and carrots on the bottom if you want.
Happy Birthday! Have a Fantastic Year! Thank you for the Badass Blog Posts and being honest and hilarious at the same time….you encourage and inspire!
Happy Birthday!
I would love an Insta-Pot!
This looks like a great item to have in my kitchen!
Say it ain’t so! I’m the Crockpot Queen! I own 5 of three different sizes. I used three different sizes Sunday: pork & sauerkraut in large (all day), mashed potatoes kept warm in another, fresh apple sauce in third (1/2 day). Potatoes were made stovetop at some midday point. Company was here & all I had to do was serve at the right time.
Happy Birthday! My favorite time-saving dinner (and favorite dinner) is a cheese and charcuterie board with wine a flowing!
Happy birthday Maddie! My quick meal is anything I can throw on the grill. Thanks for your great giveaways.
I believe in stringing a birthday out as long as you can. Also sometimes gift others on my day! So thanks for the chance to win something you love so much! BA Fan.
Happy Birthday!!! I am a terrible cook. I Slice up chicken breasts so they cook faster. Then I overcook them so I don’t poison my family and serve leather wafers. No one’s died yet;-)
?Hope you are having a Wonderful Birthday Mattie! ?
Happy Birthday Maddie!!! Hope you have a wonderful birthday and wonderful birthday week!! 🙂
I just started using a small pressure cooker for meals again, this just sounds more convenient. Happy Birthday again Maddie.
Happy Birthday Maddie grilled steak tips and baked potato
Considering I do not like to spend time in the kitchen, there is the occasion when I do have to cook when DH is home on the weekends. For something relatively quick I like to make taco salads. The quicker something is ready to eat the quicker I can get back to quilting! Would love to get my hands on one of these InstaPots!!!
Happy birthday to you! My favorite time saving dinner is whatever my hubby made!
Happy birthday! My favorite time saving dinner is whatever my hubby made!
Best wishes on your special day!
Happy… Happy… Birthday Maddie.
Would love to give the Instant Pot a try and share recipes with others.
My “quick” dinner is tequila-lime marinated chicken breast wraps. I can prepare and marinade the chicken breasts in the morning, then just pop them on my panini grill in the evening. Pile on a large tortilla and add some avocado, prepared green salsa and cheese, and roll. Delicious!!!
my favourite timesaver meal….mcdonald’s. no judgement!!!
happy! happy!
I been making carnitas and barbacoa, after they serve their time in the crock pot I put them in the broiler, just till the tips get a little crisp. try it, you’ll like it!
Happy Birthday Maddie, hope your birthday week is awesome.
Happy birthday!
My favorite timesaver is chicken with roasted peppers and cheese. I slice chicken breasts in half, season then, top them with roasted peppers and either provelone or cheddar. 20 minutes in the oven at 350 and you’ve got a wonderful main dish to go with the veggies you just microwaved.
Guess I didn’t understand about sending a message earlier. Oh well! Hope your Birthday was a joy and blessings for the year.
Happy Birthday, you BadAss girl!!! I hope you have many, many more badass birthdays ahead of you! 🙂
My easiest of dinner plans is to make a scrambled egg sandwich. Add a slice or two of cheese to the toasted bread and it’s good to go! If we have some sliced ham, that goes in there too.
I’d love to cook up some yummy dinners with that pot…er, Instant Pot.
