Happy birthday day to me, happy birthday to me, Â I am doing a giveaway for my birthday!
As some of you know I  got an Instant Pot a couple of months ago and it has been love since first pressurizing!  This machine saves me so much time… it is an electric pressure cooker and  while it does just about everything that a slow cooker will do it does it 100 times faster. This is perfect for those of us who on the regular forget to actually plug in the crock pot!!
This machine is giving me more time in the sewing room and who can say no to that?
So here is the deal… today is my birthday but I am a go-big or go-home sort of girl so we will keep this giveaway open all week so that people can find it, leave a comment and get in on the fun!  We will draw for a winner on Friday the 27th at 9pm eastern over on the BAQS page on Facebook so make sure to not only LIKE it but the follow as well so you don’t miss hearing that you won!  All you need to do is leave a comment here telling me your favorite time saving dinner and you are in!
As always dear Speakeasy members, the secret handshake has gotten you in on even more good-stuff. You will also be having your own additional  private Instant Pot giveaway so that gets you double the chances to win! Plus continued access to my personal stash of tested Instant Pot recipes to make you look like you gave a damn but you actually spent more time sewing than cooking!

( For those doing the math there… yes I am actually giving away TWO Instant Pot’s for my birthday!)

Happy Happy Birthday to you, Maddie 🙂 I love ham and beans and of course cornbread. Would love to be able to fix them lickety split!
I would love to have an instant pot…. my daughter in law uses hers all the time, and my longarm quilting business is keeping me very busy lately…
I love throwing in frozen meat, any frozen meat, that I forgot to defrost, into the pressure cooker, and half an hour later it’s cooked, and cooked well for that matter. Make a veggie and you’re good to go.
Happy Birthday! I live by myself so when I want to save time at dinner I just make breakfast 🙂
My husbands favorite, Lentil soup! Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Maddie. Thank you for all of the giveaways. Such a nice gesture on your Birthday
Love your badass attitude of giving a present on your bday instead of receiving. I wish you abundance, health and happiness
Yummy fast meals….I like it! And I like how you are celebrating you Maddie K!
If I was not organized in the morning tuna sandwiches is one of our favorite quick suppers. If I’m organized in the morning it’s the Mississippi Roast Beef in the crock pot (I add potatoes and onions to cut the salt down). You have raved so much about your hot pot I’d love to win one and start cooking with it. Happy Birthday again and thank you for all the giveaways! We never stop loving the idea of winning a gift, do we?
Hope you had a great birthday!! Love the idea of saving time in the kitchen. Need to look into theses pots….!
I’ve heard nothing but good things about this device! My favorite time saving dinner is to just make a salad with a cheese omelet and call it done!

Never heard of this pot, but thanks for the chance to get one.
I love my pressure cooker! And I am proud to be a badass quilter!
Happy Birthday! You sure are badass for giving instead of receiving on your birthday. Stay healthy and wise.
Beef stew is a favorite here. Can’t wait to see what this pot can do! Thanks.
Beetroots in the pan. Boil them. Cold water on it to cool and peel the beetroots. Serve with rolmops, which is haring in vinegar.
My favorite is potstickers out of the freezer. I can always count on my kids eating them. Happy Birthday!
My favorite is chicken and rice! I have to make it first thing every time my youngest is home!!
Oh, goodness…. continental chiecken. Not so healthy, maybe, but chicken wrapped in bacon slow-cooked on a layer of beef jerky. All the major meat groups in one dish!
?Happy Birthday to you!??????
Enjoy your day and I’ve been dying to have an instant pot myself! Xx
Belgian waffles with strawberries and whipped cream or French toast.
I just made Baked Beans in it yesterday….I will never go the other cook all day way! Don’t even have to soak overnight, so no biggie if you forget! Just perfect!
Happy Birthday Month! Thank you for sharing with us! Such a sweet thing, to think of others first on your birthday! Thank you for the encouragement!
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday, Best time saving dinner is stew beef, French onion soup mix and cream of mushroom or chicken soup poured over the top.
Cook in the crockpot on low all day and you have beef stroganoff that your family will love. Tender, flavorful and the “gravy” doesn’t separate if you freeze the leftovers.
The headline, with “Instant Pot” had me thinking something else initially. I’ve not previously heard of this miracle device.
Happy Birthday!
A very happy birthday
Happy Birthday from a new member of the Instant Pot cult… and yes, I would love to have two as you know, they are just fantastic. I love to make potatoes in the IP, thanks for the chance!!
Happy birthday to you. I like to cook earlier in the day then at dinner time, when I am sewing, it’s ready, jus t heat her up.
Favorite time saving meal:
Chicken, Roasted garlic and Parm linguine & BOS (bag of salad)
Spoiler alert: it would take a while to prepare but due to our lifestyle habits and things I do every Sunday in prep for the week, make it so simple!
I always bake/grill more chicken than I need for a meal, throw the leftovers pre-portioned in freezer bags, so I just pull what I need for a recipe:pop in micro for 10 seconds and then leave on counter for about 10 minutes and it’s recipe ready.
I also roast garlic every Sunday. A bag/jar of pre-peeled garlic, in a super small pyrex baking dish, enough olive oil to coat and come about 1/3 of the way up the garlic, S&P, cover w/foil and bake at 280-300 for about an hour or until color has turned slightly brown and cloves are easily smushed. I stick in a mid quality Rubbermaid container (pick one and use it repeatedly, otherwise whatever you put in that container is liable to be very garlicky later) I use the garlic and oil all week, in almost everything. It will keep for about a month but never lasts longer than about a week at our house.
I also make dressing on Sunday, because you can not find reasonably priced/flavored non-gmo salad dressing. I make a “creamy” similar to ranch and a vinegarette (sp?) each week.
So everything I throw together for the meal is basically done with the exception of the pasta. Easy. Fast. Yummy!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY????????? Hope it’s lots of FUN!!! Thanks for sharing, you are soooo sweet! I love Mac and Cheese in the “POT”, Yum!!!!
Happy Happy Birthday to you!!!
Thanks Maddie! Whole chicken noodle soup with dumplings!
Happy Birthday! Thanks sew much for this chance to win!! 😀
Happy Birthday! My favorite time saving dinner is double marinated chicken on the grill. Grilled chicken meal one; shredded chicken salad meal two. Would love an IP.
Happy Birthday to you! thanks for sharing!!
Happy Birthday to you! Thanks for sharing!
Happy Birthday!!! (belated)
Happy Belated Birthday! Thanks for sharing the presents with us.
I’m going to have to check out this instant pot thing. Looks like great fun! When I’m too tired or too busy to cook, we have cereal. ?
Happy bday!!! Chicken jook is my go to (chicken and rice with ginger) comfort food and good for an upset tummy!
I love making quick pork enchiladas. Seasoned pork cooked until tender & still moist. A rioux sauce with seasoning & sour cream, cheese & toppings. Roll, top with sauce & bake! Super yummy!
Yum, a nice pot of pinto beans flavored with a little ham hock or bacon, maybe both. Then, real quick like, stir up a pan of corn bread and stick that in the oven for about 22 minutes. Yep, it will be good!
