Happy birthday day to me, happy birthday to me, Β I am doing a giveaway for my birthday!
As some of you know I Β got an Instant Pot a couple of months ago and it has been love since first pressurizing! Β This machine saves me so much time… it is an electric pressure cooker and Β while it does just about everything that a slow cooker will do it does it 100 times faster. This is perfect for those of us who on the regular forget to actually plug in the crock pot!!
This machine is giving me more time in the sewing room and who can say no to that?
So here is the deal… today is my birthday but I am a go-big or go-home sort of girl so we will keep this giveaway open all week so that people can find it, leave a comment and get in on the fun! Β We will draw for a winner on Friday the 27th at 9pm eastern over on the BAQS page on Facebook so make sure to not only LIKE it but the follow as well so you don’t miss hearing that you won! Β All you need to do is leave a comment here telling me your favoriteΒ time saving dinner and you are in!
As always dear Speakeasy members, the secret handshake has gotten you in on even more good-stuff. You will also be having your own additional Β private Instant Pot giveaway so that gets you double the chances to win! Plus continued access to my personal stash of tested Instant Pot recipes to make you look like you gave a damn but you actually spent more time sewing than cooking!

( For those doing the math there… yes I am actually giving away TWO Instant Pot’s for my birthday!)

I would love a instant pot. Running a Quilt Shop leaves my family often fending for themselves. Maybe I could do more meals for my family with the new instant pot! My family would love you! Happy Birthday!
Happy, Happy Birthday! My favorite time saving dinner is chicken chili. I purchase roasted rotisserie chicken, eat it for one meal (a real time saver) and then add the leftovers it to chili beans, canned diced tomatoes, a bag of frozen diced onions, chili powder and a splash of hot sauce. Heat throughoughly and serve. Yum!
I too suffer from childhood pressure cooker trauma, and have never had one since… could be fun to try this modern version that looks like a cross between a crock pot and a rice cooker… would also be great when living out of the RV while traveling with hubby for his work, and who couldn’t use more time for quilting and crafts in general ???
Happy birthday! Hope it’s a great one! My favorite time saving dinner is a bowl of cereal! Oh wait maybe that doesn’t count! I do love to use my crockpot or about anything though and would love to have an instant pot!
Jenny in Florida
Cocoa Puffs!
Would love to win this!
Chili used to be my time saving go-to meal, but my husband had a major heart episode week before last and now I’m having to learn how to eat completely differently than before. An instant pot would surely help me find the healthy alternative recipes I need. Happy Birthday!
My favorite time saving dinner is… Take out Thai!!! Haha ! No cooking involved!! Seriously happy birthday and thanks for this opportunity to win!!!
Happy Birthday!
I have one Instant Pot but I would love to have a second one.
I had one “pressure cooker disaster” in my past. My mom was cooking blackeyed peas in the old stovetop cooker for New Years Day. (you know, peas for pennies/greens for greenbacks) Suddenly the pressure cock blew into the ceiling and the peas covered the ceiling around it. Then it rained peas! I cleaned as best I could while mom finished the meal – and opened some canned peas to warm. She has never used a pressure cooker since. I refused to continue to be afraid of it. So, Instant Pot for me.
My favorite easy cheat meal would have to be Italian sausages in the crockpot with a jar of pasta sauce. I drain a can of petite chopped tomatoes and put it in there so it isn’t obvious I only opened a jar. Boil some pasta, grate up some cheese, add garlic bread, and dinner is done! I would love to try out your new gadget. Thanks for the chance. Have a bad ass birthday! Btw I love my 25″ sticker. It cracks me up to see my husband driving my car with that on it!
I’d be making soup every day if I had one of these. Happy birthday!!
Happy birthday. I like being able to have shredded chicken in 20 minutes from frozen in the pressure cooker,
WoooooHooooooo!! I wanna join the InstaPot Cult!!!! And HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY MADDIE???
My favorite timesaver is buying meat and showing it to my husband. If you give him defrosted meat, he’ll start cooking.
I would love this! Thank you for giving us gifts for your Birthday.
Happy Birthday to you Maddie!!!!
My favorite time saving dinner is anything from the freezer. Happy birthday ?
Thank you for sharing your favorites with us. Love cooking and hope to try the new insta-pots. Thinking …. stew beef…. something I always make in a pressure cooker because it takes 30 minutes, not 3 hours. Happy Birthday, Maddie!
Hau’oli lΔ HΔnau – Happy Birthday!
A big pot of soup always works for me. If you need a recipe E-mail me.
My favorite recipe is anything I can double or triple. That way I can freeze it and whenever we are having a rough or busy day I can just pull something out of the freezer on the way out the door.
Happy Birthday Maddie! OH to be 49 again! LOL!
Soup is my go-to meal when I’m in a hurry. Make plenty so there are leftovers.
Happy Happy Birthday! Oh Boy! I’ve have been wanting an Instant Pot! gives me more time for sewing, HAHHA.
Pick Me, fingers are crossed
Happy birthday, Maddie!!!
49 sounds young to me, since I am soon to be 13 numbers ahead of you. I hope I didn’t jinx myself with that 13 number. π
I favorite time saving meal is “carry out pizza”. π If I remember, chili take me about 10 minutes to throw together and cook on low in the crovk pot all day.
Happy birthday, Maddy! That Insta Pot looks awesome.
Best idea ever! I coached two friends through beginning quilting stuff on Saturday and one brought single serving cheesecakes made in an electric pressure cooker. Guess what I’m excited to win?????
Any meal that is fast and tastes good is my favorite meal. I would like to make a decent pot roast, in other words, a pot roast that is tender and tasty that does not take hours in the oven. Happy Birthday and may you have green lights all day and night as a perk on your birthday.
I’ve been saving recipes. Now all I need is to win this one!! Would be great to save some time and not get up my southern kitchen this summer!! Happy Birthday ?
Happy Birthday! Hope you have a great lunch whatever you decide to eat! π
Happy birthday Maddie.
I don’t have a pressure cooker or a slow cooker. This would be awesome to have. I bet it would make an awesome pot roast dinner or a pot of chili!
Cover frozen boneless chicken breasts with a jar of spaghetti sauce, cover with foil and bake 375 for around 30-45 mins. While that’s going make the pasta. When the chicken is done melt mozzarella on top.
Happy Birthday (my husband is sharing your day too!) I love crock pot chili for a hurry up meal (that way I can back to quilting!!)
Not sure if it time saving but I try and make 2 meals once in awhile and put one in the freezer so just have to pop one in the oven later on…..would love to have one of these though !!! Happy Birthday.
Favorite Time Saving Recipe: Whole Chicken in a crock pot with Lipton Herb soup and 1/2 cup of water. Thats it. Cook on low 8 hours. Can’t wait to see how this recipe can be done in an Instant Pot!!! Happy Birthday Maddie!!!!
Happy Birthday, Maddie! Mine was Saturday. All the best BadAsses are born in January!
My favorite time saving meal is chicken and rice casserole. Just dump it together and in the oven it goes. I’ve been wanting to try the Instapot.
You sure are generous for your birthday!!!! I love my pressure cooker! I’d love to have more space by giving up a few “unitasker” pots. Roasts, chicken, eggs, flan, mmmm. Now I’m hungry! Happy Happy Birthday Maddie!!!
I want to try this gadget–everyone who has one loves it! Thanks for the chance to win. And Happy Birthday to YOU!!

I’ve been hearing about this cooker
I’ve never used one
Happy Birthday! hope you have a great day!!!
I think my favorite time saver dinner is soup/chili. While it may not cook quickly I enjoy that if I remember to get myself organized it keeps me from having to do all the work when everyone is already hangry.
