While I will always have Flatter by Soak in my sewing room I am finding that I use it more and more up in my closet! At this point I have given up and have double bottles!
Summer is here and with that summer clothing that looks it’s best when it get special care. Dresses, swimsuits, workout wear, they all look better and last longer when washed in this gentle but effective wash that keeps the colors bright as well as leaving them with a wonderful scent. (Never fear, they also make a scentless variety for those who have issues). Look for all the SoakWash products at your local quilt store.
With so much hand washing in the summer I find that having a small fan in my walk-in closet makes drying faster and keeps air circulating on these hot summer days.
So first a gentle wash with some soak and then hang to dry. When almost dry I give each item a light misting with some Flatter and this helps the garment keep its soft hand and lets any wrinkles fall right out.

What fantastic products to rid a lifelong problem with hand washing. Like you I have so much hand washing but all year round and with these products it looks like it might be a brilliant way to simplify washing days. Keep up the great work Maddie 💞

I love both Soak and Flatter! I first came across Flatter at a paper piecing class. There was a bottle of it on the pressing board and this wonderful scent kept wafting over every time someone used it. 🙂
Gotta get in on this one! I keep meaning to get some flatter and/or soak but it slips my mind until the next time I have to put on sun dresses that cling to me like I’m a plate of leftovers. Here’s hoping!
