Saturday we say goodbye to SPOOL – the physical store (do look for another week online very soon, at KICK ASS PRICES!) and we thought it would be fun to giveaway some fabric as a way of saying thank you for all of your support over the last three years.
We are so very excited about the expanded direction we will be taking BAQS and we will have more on that later. For now, just know that there is some really cool stuff coming including weekly giveaways, livecasts, video interviews with the people you want to know and more. Until then… let’s have some fun and give away two boxes stuffed with fabric!
One box is filled with amazing “SPOOL- Style” batiks… bright, colorful, embodying everything SPOOL was about.
The other is filled with a variety of quilting cottons that I am sure will make you smile for days after opening it.
Each box is 15 yards of fabric plus some fun BAQS swag!

Those batiks look so fun! I have never made a quilt using them but those would look so neat made up together. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for all of us in your new adventure! I’m sure it will be a blast!

Batiks – they make my heart pitter-patter currently as they are what my grandson and I are making his first quilt with (he is 13 and loving it). Maddie helped him pick out his contrasting fabrics very graciously. We sure had a great time shopping together and he is also saddened that Spool is closing – but he is definitely a Bad Ass Quilter and has his pin to prove it. (And he’ll have his skull backing on his batik quilt to prove it up also).
