Saturday we say goodbye to SPOOL – the physical store (do look for another week online very soon, at KICK ASS PRICES!) and we thought it would be fun to giveaway some fabric as a way of saying thank you for all of your support over the last three years.
We are so very excited about the expanded direction we will be taking BAQS and we will have more on that later. For now, just know that there is some really cool stuff coming including weekly giveaways, livecasts, video interviews with the people you want to know and more. Until then… let’s have some fun and give away two boxes stuffed with fabric!
One box is filled with amazing “SPOOL- Style” batiks… bright, colorful, embodying everything SPOOL was about.
The other is filled with a variety of quilting cottons that I am sure will make you smile for days after opening it.
Each box is 15 yards of fabric plus some fun BAQS swag!

The left the right both are fabulous I think the left is more my style with the little girls in my life. I want you to still be a presents in my life and continue to inspire me to go outside my box. Classes, retreats, events contests you name it I want it. While I know the store is closing our connections will forever be! You ladies helped me to see more try more and become more in many ways. We all know the struggles of life are real but sewing makes me believe that as long as I have a project to work on there is a reason to keep swimming. A legacy to leave behind after I leave in every stitch I make! Love u ladies!!!

I’m excited to see what the future brings. I’m kind of newer to this site but already love it. Both the fabric collections are lovely but the darker tones make my heart sing!!!

I would love any that are not batiks, not a fan of the batiks…I have so happy for you to move onto other ventures, but will miss spool so very much. So very mixed feelings there. I wish you all the best on your next chapter. I would love to see you doing a couple of quick projects that are interactive with us. Batiks all the way — they are GLORIOUS!!! I was able to visit your store for the first (and last) time during the recent AQS show — I am SO glad we made that evening trip. BAQS? Please – keep encouraging us to be ourselves!!
