Saturday we say goodbye to SPOOL – the physical store (do look for another week online very soon, at KICK ASS PRICES!) and we thought it would be fun to giveaway some fabric as a way of saying thank you for all of your support over the last three years.
We are so very excited about the expanded direction we will be taking BAQS and we will have more on that later. For now, just know that there is some really cool stuff coming including weekly giveaways, livecasts, video interviews with the people you want to know and more. Until then… let’s have some fun and give away two boxes stuffed with fabric!
One box is filled with amazing “SPOOL- Style” Â batiks… bright, colorful, embodying everything SPOOL was about.
The other is filled with a variety of quilting cottons that I am sure will make you smile for days after opening it.
Each box is 15 yards of fabric plus some fun BAQS swag!

I love the batiks on the right. I would like to see Badass Quilters continue to be a champion of all quilters, no labels. I like the online videos. I have never been to a retreat, but if you hosted one, I think I would feel welcome and want to participate.
I would love to see you sometime! On a cruise would be fun!!!! Love the bright batiks!!!!!

I would love to see a BAQ site for members to post quilts they made that they love. Even a BAQ member Instagram feed could start it. There is so much that can be done online now that could lead to BAQ workshops. I would also rather belong to a BAQ guild than the MQG. Wouldn’t that be cool!!

Spool was such an inviting shop . I was lucky enough to visit there several times while my daughter lived in Chattanooga. Who wouldn’t love a box of batiks! Such rich colors! I love the moderns! I love that I was ever introduced to BAQS! I would love for you to feature some BA Quilters. Talk about how they started, what they love, show who they are and what they make. I know we aren’t all grannies at the kitchen table, and my granny at the kitchen table sure was one BAQ!

I am so sad I never got to Spool, I had plans to travel that way next spring. That said I wish you much success with your new endeavors. And I did get some swag via mail. My teardrop sports a sticker.
I make quilts for charity and gifts so either beautiful box would be fabulous. Having to choose, I say the cottons.
