Saturday we say goodbye to SPOOL – the physical store (do look for another week online very soon, at KICK ASS PRICES!) and we thought it would be fun to giveaway some fabric as a way of saying thank you for all of your support over the last three years.
We are so very excited about the expanded direction we will be taking BAQS and we will have more on that later. For now, just know that there is some really cool stuff coming including weekly giveaways, livecasts, video interviews with the people you want to know and more. Until then… let’s have some fun and give away two boxes stuffed with fabric!
One box is filled with amazing “SPOOL- Style” batiks… bright, colorful, embodying everything SPOOL was about.
The other is filled with a variety of quilting cottons that I am sure will make you smile for days after opening it.
Each box is 15 yards of fabric plus some fun BAQS swag!

Oh my gosh, how can you ask us to choose !!!! Both collections are amazing but after a small anxiety attack (at the thought of choosing between them) I must say that the variety collection is the one that raises my pulse that little bit more, with my first grandchild due in the spring I would be a busy busy Badass Quilter xxx

The bright pile inspires me to try many modern designs that spark my imagination and midi are me to create. Your reasons for naming yourself BAQ is also inspiring. Not everyone who quilts fits a single profile. Keep rocking the boat and keep a look out for the non conformist quilter to take us all to the next level in our artistic journeys.

My ♥ goes ping-ping just thinking about the bright happy colors, and I sure could use a “lift” about now. Yesterday was the 15th death day anniversary of my youngest son’s death (auto accident).

I love the quilting fabrics. My friend and I make cute dog clothes(don’t laugh) to dress small rescue dogs so they look a bit more attractive to potential adopters. We use nice quality quilting cotton.
