Saturday we say goodbye to SPOOL – the physical store (do look for another week online very soon, at KICK ASS PRICES!) and we thought it would be fun to giveaway some fabric as a way of saying thank you for all of your support over the last three years.
We are so very excited about the expanded direction we will be taking BAQS and we will have more on that later. For now, just know that there is some really cool stuff coming including weekly giveaways, livecasts, video interviews with the people you want to know and more. Until then… let’s have some fun and give away two boxes stuffed with fabric!
One box is filled with amazing “SPOOL- Style” Â batiks… bright, colorful, embodying everything SPOOL was about.
The other is filled with a variety of quilting cottons that I am sure will make you smile for days after opening it.
Each box is 15 yards of fabric plus some fun BAQS swag!

I’m sad that I missed out on visiting the store before closing. The variety of cotton fabrics are speaking to me. something about the novelty prints.

I would love, love the quilting fabric. My circle of quilting friends and I could put it to good use. I love your videos and would like to see BAQS have lots of quilting tutorials, including a place for questions that could be answered with an instructional video. I am a self taught quilter and am unable to attend classes due to a health condition. I am a very visual learner, so videos are awesome.

I love them both but I do drool over Batiks and those would fit right into one I am designing for me lol
I would love to see more tutes , I love how you teach those of us still learning, how to do things we never thought we could.
As an aside, your “quilt police” posts helped me deal with one of my own last week and I can’t thank you enough for giving me the guts to tell them off!!!

I love the cottons, the fun fresh colors and would love to make a commemorative BADA$$ Quilt to remember Spool and all the love you girls poured into it! I would love to see you take your new venture to the next level, proving anyone can make a beautiful quilt with attitude, and to see you encourage new quilters to keep trying, perfecting their skills. When you give a quilt, you cover someone with love and stitches. Praying success over you girls, no matter what you do or where this takes you, Spool inspired quilters to reach outside the box! You all have something to be very proud of!
