Saturday we say goodbye to SPOOL – the physical store (do look for another week online very soon, at KICK ASS PRICES!) and we thought it would be fun to giveaway some fabric as a way of saying thank you for all of your support over the last three years.
We are so very excited about the expanded direction we will be taking BAQS and we will have more on that later. For now, just know that there is some really cool stuff coming including weekly giveaways, livecasts, video interviews with the people you want to know and more. Until then… let’s have some fun and give away two boxes stuffed with fabric!
One box is filled with amazing “SPOOL- Style” batiks… bright, colorful, embodying everything SPOOL was about.
The other is filled with a variety of quilting cottons that I am sure will make you smile for days after opening it.
Each box is 15 yards of fabric plus some fun BAQS swag!

What fun! I don’t have much experience sewing with batiks, I do love the colors and would choose that stack as an outside the box experiment! As for Spool and the BAQS I appreciate the community of people and ideas they embrace. Keep sharing and doing what no one else is brave enough to do! Thanks 🙂

Love your shop and so sad about your closing. Looking forward to your new adventures. I use the key chain and love the car sticker. The batiks look like they would fill in my stash with some more of the darker values, but the florals are mighty pretty… I’d be over the moon to receive either!

I really have enjoyed Spool and hope the badassery continues in another form. I like the bundle with the floral, but the batiks would be fun for Halloween.

I love both boxes but I chose cotton. Sadly I only got to visit the store once but as I live in Scotland the distance proved too much for a return visit. However I’d love to share the box with my US friends who introduced me to you, So sorry to see you close.

I would be all over those batiks!!! I’ve never been able to get to the store since Lincoln, Nebraska isn’t quite next door to Chattanooga – but I’m sure it would have felt like home. We do have some great LQS’s here though. The Cosmic Cow (and their second store in Seward “Cosmic Cows Udder Store”, and The Calico House are two of my favorites that keep me pretty well stashed with fabric. Good luck in your next chapter!
