Rise and Shine cats and kittens… a new week has dawned. I laid in bed this morning in that sleepy drifty way that is the delicious bit of having a day off ( yes Monday is my “day-off” -let’s laugh at that concept later).. my mind trolling through my day in the languorous way one does when they don’t have to open their eyes quite yet. It was all so lovely until the little man in my head knocked .. knock knock knock…. ” hello there… might I remind you that in 48 hours you get on a plane for QUILT MARKET??”

First off… I want to find you, connect with you and pin you at Market!!! Yep I want to go steady with the whole lot of you!! To be more precise I want to go steady with exactly 200 of you. I will have 200 BadAss Quilter pins to give away and all we have to do is find each other!
How to find me–think think think ( to quote Pooh Bear) – Ok.. I will carrying a black bag messenger bag with BadAss Quilter on it and if you see me in the airport this is the luggage I will be wheeling about – yes it causes lots of stares~
This is me and the annoying red blotch on my nose.. I am trying think of it as charming, or give it a pet name… but it will be coming with me so get used to it!
Once we are pinned and going steady let’s have a drink. Yes I know that normally you have to buy a girl ( or guy ) drink or two before you ask to fool around but lets mix up stuff shall we??? I don’t know Pittsburg well but once I get in town I am going to seek out a place where we all can go on one big date! – I am pretty sure Quilt Market is never going to forget this!
But how will everyone know when and were?.. Good question! I am pondering a BAQS flash Mob style meet-up for those who are willing and able and I am thinking that I will post something on my Instagram with the times and dates as they happen. So if you don’t follow now skedattle yourself over to Instagram and follow me at BadAssQuilter on Instagram Then get a bit OCD and check my feed and couple of times a day for word of what might be going down. I am going to do my best to use the hashtag #BadAssBIGDATE so feel free to search for that as well. WARNING- I am at times an ADD spaz so I might forget the hashtag, go ahead and forgive me now since otherwise I will need a spanking and you know I would like that way too much to be any sort of punishment!
I want to know what YOU are doing at Quilt Market, find me, drag me to your booth and show me something really cool and I will share it WITH THE WORLD.. or at the very least 6,300+ BadAss BF’s and their 10o,000 other bff’s as well! I LOVE sharing what you are doing!
Speaking of sharing, I have something to share with you. … If you are fan of BAQS there is something so cool and so JUST FOR YOU that I am just about to wet my pants in excitement… As I said we have teamed up with a wonderful company to bring you something useful, fun and branded so you can show off your BadAss ways every day! Even better I will have some to give away as I walk around and more can be found at the booth for the company just for showing up and proclaiming your allegiance to the BadAss creed of not being a quilt jerk!

I’m going to market for the first time this year because of my new job. I am so excited. Lets meet and have drinks and be bad ass friends! I want a pin.
