My question is this. I do not have a long arm machine and am interested in learning how to use one. Someone in my area offers a 3 hour class on how to operate the machine and then a by the hour rate after that to quilt whatever I’d like. Is it even in the realm of possibility that in 3 hours one could learn enough to quilt a large – king size – stitching in the ditch? My plan is to do the free motion negative space at home on my Bernie from there.
