I admit it, much to my shock it seems that I have been shunning striped fabric when it comes to my quilts. I never meant to do it but somehow I have been missing the boat when it comes to  the punch stripes can add to quilted creations.  This was a serious problem I thought I needed to turn to a doctor.

That doctor is Scott Murkin, who is not only an amazing and caring hospice doctor but also a stripe loving quilter who is here to clear up my fears and reservations about using striped fabrics in my quilting.

I thought you might like to hear and save his good advice so we are trying something different today!  { insert scary music with Maddie wondering if this will work!}  I have converted Scott’s post into a PDF document that you can  read here (just click on it below) and then you can either save it to your own desktop for later reference or print it out if you care to. ~ please note that this is a long post with many amazing high color photos.. so have a nice full ink cartridge ready if you are going to print!~

I can’t thank Scott enough for the time it took to put together is post for BAQS.
