Bunny-butt-quilt

Spring might be just around the corner but it does not mean that it is too late for a fast and easy SnowBall Quilt.  I was reminded of this pattern as I was reshuffling my quilts, packing away the Fall and Winter colored quilts in exchange for the lighter and brighter quilts of Spring.

In our house this quilt is known as the Bunny-Butt quilt….

Due to the unfortunate placement of each and every rabbit in this otherwise very cute layer cake of fabric. Yes, all rabbit arses, and not one whole rabbit.  Some would have returned the layer-cake for another but we found it pretty funny and thus the Bunny-Butt quilt was born using a simple snowball pattern to hi-light the cute, if not arse-gifted fabric pattern.

So before this was washed and folded away for another season I thought I would share it with you.

Snowball Quilts are Easy

SnowBall Quilts really are a great early quilt to make as well as a fast quilt that can be a great way to feature some of those larger print novelty fabrics that we all buy then wonder what to do with.

Think you want to make one?  Awesome!  I have pulled together some of the best tutorials,  on making your snowball quilt something you will treasurer for many years to come.

On my part I am sad to fold away the Bunny-Butt quilt so I think I am going to paw through my stash  and see what I can do to create a new quilt.. I think I will call it SnowBalls in Spring.  What about you? Do you have a snowball quilt to share?  If so please come and share it over on the BAQS Facebook page. I would love to see it.
