{Settles in with a Rum and Coke}
So, how was your week? I hope it was amazing and full of all the things in life worth getting out of bed for. Around here we are getting ready for Spring Quilt Market.
For those not in the know, Quilt Market is a 2x a year industry gathering that is like a quilt shop on serious steroids. Classes to see, new products to learn about and of course lots of old friends to see and new ones to meet. { will I see you there?…drop me a note in the comments!}
It is part highschool reunion and part quilting industry boot-camp where fashion is everything for some but generally stops at the knees since there is miles of walking each day and sensible shoes are just about required.
But sensible shoes don’t mean that you can’t rock it otherwise. This time I am going with lots of BadAss Skully wear to make the most of the long days and not long enough nights. Too much food and equal amounts of drink to go with it.
To round out my wardrobe this time around I made a Mother Of Dragons skirt inspired of course by Game of Thrones. The embroidery is from the nifty folks at Urban Threads and here is a little wrap up video I did about the pitfalls and solutions to working with knits and machine embroidery. – Leave me a note if you have a pressing question.
